What Makes A Good Story?

A good story isn’t just simply decided good. If we want to get philosophical then my cat taking a shit is a very detailed story, an epic if you would. In simple terms, a story to me is a happening from point A to point B. John tells me the story, “I went to the bathroom.” He got from wherever he was and went to the bathroom.  A good story has many points.  John tells me a cool story, “I went to bathroom but my pet iguana bit me in the face and I think it’s infected.” Much better story.
